Overview: ... Ben Day is a day in which the common man is celebrated. It stresses one's own inner being through the use of the almost mythical Ben. Ben is not a religious figure, but he is none the less celebrated for his innate ability to represent everything both goo d and evil about men.
Observance: ... February 29th.

History: ... Ben Day has an interesting and signifigant history behind it. It came into being when George, one of our team here at BiteMe Holiday Development had a dream. The dream which is pictorally represented by our finest a rtists below in figure 1, consisted of Ben getting married, with everyone else feeling like schmucks because Ben was getting married, and they weren't. When he awoke that morning, h e knew Ben Day needed to be invented!

Celebration: ... Ben Day has a few main theories of celebration. The most common is dress in costumes similar to those seen at Halloween (see figure 2). Other traditions include coloring Index Cards in with a ball point pen (see figure 3), and saying 'Yeah, ok' in response to almost all questions. Radicals have also believed this is the day on which you should kill people named Ben, but this seems to contradict the true meaning of the holiday, and thus is not supported by the team that originally invented Ben Day.
